Photography Workshops/Lessons

Have you just bought a flashy new camera or received one as a generous gift but have no idea how to use it? Maybe you can take pictures but can't achieve the results that you imagined in your mind! Whatever your situation, StudioClick can help take your skills to the next level with one-to-one photography lessons or small group workshops.

There's no better way to learn photography than to tap in to the knowledge of an expert and be given step by step guidance. Being encouraged to ask questions at any time and being able to see demonstrations of techniques before trying them yourself in a practical, relaxed and fun environment are what characterises the photography workshops that we offer.

We recommend around 3 hours each time so as not to overwhelm you with too much information and also give you a chance to go away and practise what you have learned before considering another module. Each session can be tailored to exactly what you want to learn and can include, but is not restricted to, any of the following areas:

The basics of exposure - understanding the exposure triangle and how it affects your images.

Understanding your camera - handling, settings and how to get the most out of it.

Understanding composition - seeing things in a different way to take your photos from bland to breathtaking.

Lighting - learn how natural and artificial lighting affects the image, flash photography, colour temperature and the infamous inverse square law!

Post-processing - how to edit photos using Photoshop, Lightroom and other software to make your pictures come alive.

Specific photographic disciplines - including landscapes, portraits, nature, macro(close-up), astro photography and more.

A session of around 3 hours would be £95.00 for one person with the option of up to two additional people for £30 each.
