I've done a few things in my life to earn a living - some of them I was even quite good at - but in my heart I always wanted to be creative, to make things, to discover things, to be a photographer.
Now I get to create images every day, discover hidden depths to people's personalities and make the ordinary look extraordinary.
The great thing about photography is that there is always something more to learn, something new to capture and a different way to go.
Join me for a while and become a part of the adventure.
About Maggie
Maggie grew up in a small village in Poland. One of my great pleasures in life is making fun of her English - although it's actually very good.
She captures images in a different way to me, and not just because she is half my height. With her natural style she sees those special fleeting moments and immortalises them in a digital file.
In our portrait sessions, she works with the client to make them feel comfortable in front of the camera as she guides them with their posing and styling. At weddings, she darts around finding all the angles that I can't get to and taking candid shots, filled with personality and life.
Maggie uses Fuji X-series cameras and lenses - they are small, quiet and produce amazing quality photos... just like her.
About Simon & Maggie
We live together in Colchester, Essex with Maggie's two boys and Lena the cat. We like watching Game of Thrones, playing board games, wearing hats and pulling faces.
Most of all we like taking photos together - so that's what we do.
